Program Description

The M.Ed. in Learning Design and Technology emphasizes the study and application of learning theory and technology skills that can be applied to learning problems in a wide range of settings. Students will learn skills including but not limited to:

advanced analysis skills
instructional design skills
media development skills
digital media evaluation skills
project management skills
elearning design and development skills
elearning teaching skills
evaluation skills
the skills needed to stay current in a quickly evolving landscape of learning and technology.

Students will learn to apply these skills through a hands on, project-based learning curriculum that will combine the flexibility of online classes with limited, but crucial, on campus meetings. This unique hybrid learning approach will give working adults both the flexibility of online learning with the critical face-to-face interactions with faculty and peers.
